What We Do
The Wild Rose Wilderness Preservation Foundation's goal is to  promote  a healthy outdoor lifestyle while protecting and caring for Alberta's beautiful landscape and environment.
We organize:
  • clean up events where  individuals can volunteer their time to help pick up litter and debris from: crown land sites, road sides and highways.  You can  do your part  in helping the environment by simply  volunteering a few hours of your time!
  •  Education camps teaching young and old Albertans skills to maintain and protect our local environment, wilderness safety, camping and fire safety, traditional & Aboriginal outdoor survival skills.
We are planning a 2024 family camping weekend retreat which will feature:
  • A group barbeque
  • Special guest speakers
  • Outdoorsperson skills training such as: how to safely start, maintain and distinguish a camp fire - learning to shoot a bow - ethical harvesting of wildlife during hunting season
  • Outdoor games and events
  • Musical entertainment and more
  • If you or your business is interested in sponsoring the event, please contact us.
If you  are interested in volunteering your time and taking part in our events please send us  a message via the "Contact Us" form below.
